The third night of the World Series of Asphalt was contested at New Smyrna Speedway with the Super Late Model machines again taking to the track on Sunday evening. Home state racer Brad May earned the victory in that class and left the New Smyrna Beach, FL facility with the points lead in the nine-night series. Justin Mondeik was quickest in qualifying for the SLM division as he turned a lap in 17.701 seconds around the historic half-mile track located not far from the Daytona International Speedway. The New Smyrna Speedway played host to the World Series of Asphalt for the second of what is scheduled to be nine nights of racing on the track located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Bubba Pollard claims Pro Late Model 100 in Nashville

The Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville hosted the Big Machine Vodka 100 race for the Pro Late Model division as part of its All-American 400 event on Sunday afternoon. After all was said and done, it was Asphalt Late Model star Bubba Pollard who would leave the state capital of Tennessee with a winner’s check valued at $6,500.
