These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The 2019 season has concluded at SMS but schedule information for next year will be released in the coming weeks.
Classes in action: World of Outlaws Late Model Series for $12,000-to-win(50 laps) as well as Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds and the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.

General Information:
Weather is expected to be cool with little to no chance for rain.
Opening ceremonies are set for 3:45 with racing to follow soon afterwards.
Brandon Sheppard has already clinched the WoO Late Models championship.
Chase Junghans, Darrell Lanigan, Shane Clanton and Ricky Weiss are involved in a very close battle for positions 2-5 in the standings.

4:30- Big-Block Modified heats have concluded. WoO Late Models are up next.

Bloomquist gets by Madden for second on the lap 8 restart. Davenport continues to lead.
Lap 21- Leaders in traffic. Madden gets around Bloomquist for second and is right on Davenport.
Laps 29- Madden making a bid for the lead.
Lap 31 caution. Davenport leads Madden, Bloomquist, Ferguson, Dillard, Clanton, Sheppard, Richards, Hardy, D O’Neal.
Madden takes the lead on the lap 31 restart.
Lap 36- Madden is pulling away from a tight battle between Davenport and Bloomquist.
Lap 44- Davenport and Bloomquist close back in as Madden hits slower traffic
Madden was able to get through the slower traffic without incident. Bloomquist got by Davenport late in the race.
